Kitchen Kapers

About Us

About Kitchen Kapers Now in its 30th year of supporting cancer care at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, Kitchen Kapers continues is mission to improve the lives of those living with cancer. Annually, our group of committed volunteers has raised funds through the popular Kitchen Kapers tour of newly remodeled gourmet kitchens in the Upper Arlington community.

Kitchen Kapers has provided more than $800,000 in support of Riverside Methodist's cancer care since its inception in 1987. In the last three years alone, the organization has raised $250,000 in proceeds, which were used to support the Artist in Residence program at Riverside Methodist. Recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts as a "Best Practice,"  the program brings artistry to the bedside of cancer patients to enhance healing and improve quality of life. Kitchen Kapers will continue to support this program as well as other Integrative Care services at the hospital that help to mediate the physical and psychological side effects of cancer treatment.

We thank this year's honorary spokesperson, Ellie Merritt, for supporting our cause year after year. And we extend our sincere gratitude to all of our generous donors, sponsors, partners and homeowners. Without you, we could not reach our ultimate goal...to improve the lives of those living with cancer. Thank you for your support!
