Kitchen Kapers is an annual tour of remodeled kitchens in the Upper Arlington and surrounding areas. The tour is organized by volunteer members of Riverside Methodist Hospital Service Board VII. Over the past 23 years, Kitchen Kapers has raised over $311,000, including $36,500 from last year's event. We take pride in knowing that 90% of our proceeds support Cancer Care programs at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
The 2010 Kitchen Kapers tour is especially important to us. Proceeds from this year's tour will help fund the Artist in Residence Program for cancer patients
at Riverside Methodist. This program brings artists to the bedside to enhance healing and improve quality of life. Creative outlets such as music, poetry, and painting help patients deal with the emotional impact of their illness. Only one out of the eight oncology units at Riverside currently benefits from this tremendous resource. With your help, we will expand the reach of this program and continue to improve the often difficult hospital experience for cancer patients.
