Kitchen Kapers of Central Ohio

Kitchen Kapers is an annual tour of remodeled kitchens in the Upper Arlington and surrounding areas. The tour is organized by volunteer members of Riverside Methodist Hospital Service Board VII. Over the past 24 years, Kitchen Kapers has raised over $352,000, including $41,000 from last year's event. We take pride in knowing that 90% of our proceeds support Cancer Care programs at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
The 2011 Kitchen Kapers tour is especially important to us. Proceeds from this year's tour will fund the Artist in Residence Program for cancer patients at Riverside Methodist. Recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts as a Best Practice, this program brings artists to the bedside to enhance healing and improve quality of life. Creative outlets such as music, poetry, and painting help patients deal with the emotional impact of cancer. Art helps a patient focus on what is right in their life. With your help, we will expand the reach of this program and continue to improve the lives of many living with cancer.
